It was a dreary, wet evening in Houston, Texas. David Jones, the firstborn son of the extremely wealthy and powerful CEO of one of the oil companies, geared up for a little marathon of the series Avatar: The Last Airbender with his brother. As a martial arts enthusiast and prodigy, known to his class as 'the dragon emperor' for his skills, he appreciated the show. "Let the fun begin," he said.

Patrick Jones nodded. The 4 year old boy loved avatar too, though he was more a fan of Korra than Aang. Like his brother, patrick was a martial arts prodigy, he had the nickname the god of death.

As they continued watching the show, the rain began, coupled with lightning. "Ah, more bad weather," David remarked. Ignoring it, they continued watching the show. Suddenly, there was a large flash of lightning, and the whole world went white.

Patrick woke up in a strange room, over him was a kindly looking old wokan who he recognized as Hama. The first evil waterbender, he should be panicking, but he felt safe.

Meanwhile, David came to on the shores of Ember Island in the Fire Nation. Rubbing his head, he stood up, beginning to perform some kung fu to loosen up. Suddenly, fire shot out of his hand. "I just firebended," he said in shock. He then looked around more. "This is Ember Island, as seen in the episode The Beach. Great. Maybe I will run into Zuko, Mai, Ty Lee and Azula while I am at it," he said sarcastically.

Hama smiled. "Not a name I have ever heard in any of the four nations. Speaking of which, which of the nations do you come from? I come from the Southern Water Tribe," she said. Back on Ember Island, David was taking a walk, and clearing his head, trying to figure out what to do next. That's when he caught sight of a beautiful teenage girl on the beach. "Wow..." he whispered, attracted to her.

Hama accepted the answer. "Very well, then. I won't ask again," she said. On the beach, David went over to where Ty Lee was. "Well, this is a nice beach, one of the nicest I've seen," he said, not wanting to give away all of what had happened.

Patrick then accidentally splashed Hama with waterbending, using the water in the bowl she used to heal him. " I'm so sorry Miss Hama." Patrick said.

Hama only laughed if off. "That is quite all right, young one. It's good to see another waterbender. I haven't seen one in years," she explained. On Ember Island, David sat down near Ty Lee. "Thank you for letting me sit here," he said.

Hama smiled, considering it. "Very well, I shall teach you to master waterbending. There aren't many of us left where I come from, not since the Fire Nation took them all," she said. On the beach, David smiled. "My name is David. My friends sometimes call me the Dragon Emperor," he began.
