just then Steele came rushing towards his friends. " Sorry I'm late, dad worked me too hard yesterday and I overslept." He said, ready to play with them.

Ice jumped out from the group when she heard his voice. "Hi Steele!" she exclaimed out loud.
Meanwhile, Balto had made his way into Nome. Excitedly, he looked around at the humans. However, things went bad. When the humans realized that they were looking at a pup that was part wolf, they began to try to chase him away.

" Yeah, but I'm not sure I wanna be a slead dog." Steele said as he saw the humans trying to chase Balto out. " Hey that pups in trouble!" Steele said, running off to try and help him.

Balto ran as the humans tried to chase him off. Now, he was thinking about Boris' warning as he attempted to get away.

"Hey you, this way!" Steele said as he led balto through a fence with a hole in it. He then pushed some crates down, causing a crash as the pursuiers got clobered with them.
"My Name's steele, what's yours?" The malamute pup asked cheerfully

Just then, Balto saw in the group a pretty female husky pup with red fur and brown eyes. He walked up to her. "I'm Balto, what's your name?" he said.
