Skia growled. "No. If you're going to to be the next lead dog, you have to practice. Do you think that Grizzly and I, the two champions of Nome, got that way just by playing?!" he exclaimed.

Grizzly looked at Skia, "Skia my friend be easy on the boy, I know you want him to follow in your foot steps but he should at least be able to have some fun." He said to him.

Grizzly chuckled, "I under stand Skia geesh don't bite my tail off my friend, I'm sure Steele would be a great lead dog just like you." He said to him.

Grizzly put a paw on Skia's shoulder, "Its ok my friend, and I believe that Steele will be a great lead dog." He said to him.

Skia turned as we watched Steele do his practice runs. "And what of you, Grizzly? Your daughters were adopted as house pets and you don't know what has become of your sons," he said.
