Title: Balto: Beginning Of A Hero
Story: This is the start of Balto's story, beginning in his puppyhood as he is adopted by Boris. We then see how he met Jenna, Steele and the others.

It had been long and difficult, but Aniu, the gorgeous white she-wolf, had finally delivered her litter of pups. However, these were not pure wolves, but wolf-dogs. The father was Samson, a handsome male husky from the town of Nome who had fallen in love with Aniu and become her mate. "Samson, your pups have been born," she called out, summoning her love, who, by pack custom, had to wait outside the den.

Samson walked in and smiled, "There perfect and the girls are beautiful just like you my love." He said to her.

Aniu smiled. "There is also at least one boy," she said, indicating a male pup with grey-brown fur. She looked at him. "There is something special about this one. He has a great future ahead," she said.

Samson looked at the young pup and smiled, "I'm sure he does so what did you plan on nameing them?" He asked her.

Aniu smiled pleasantly. "All right, Balto for the one boy and Aleu for one of the girls. Any other ideas?" she said.

It was then that another male wolf entered. His name was Nava, and he was Aniu's cousin. He walked up to Samson. "Congratulations," he said.
