Three years passed. The younger members of the group had grown older. Mai had married Zuko, and now, it was yet another joyous day, as it was the magnificent royal wedding of Jun Huo and Ty Lee. Jun Huo now had a full beard and long hair, worn in typical Fire Nation style. Ty Lee, garbed in tradition wedding robes, stood with him as the ceremony continued. Finally, the holy man declared them married and they kissed. He smiled at her. "And now, the celebration begins," he said as the guests clapped.

Everyone entered the banquet hall, where all the spicy foods the Fire Nation was well-known for were laid out in all their glory. There were whole roast Komodo chickens, fish, roast Komodo rhino, rice, fruit, vegetables and bread. For dessert, there were cakes, pies, cookies, fire flakes and fire gummies in abundance. For drink, there was watermelon juice and tea. Jun Huo smiled at the crowd. "Eat, drink and enjoy yourself!" he announced. The feasting began. Talented musicians began to play, and, after the feast, there would be much dancing, for the negative attitude toward it had been repealed.

By all accounts, the event was a success. No one went home hungry. Since there had been so much food, what remained was packed up and distributed to the guests to take home with them. Late in the night, when everyone was gone, Jun Huo and Ty Lee retired to their chambers. On the way, Jun Huo smiled proudly. "It's done, you're a princess of the Fire Nation now," he told her. Meanwhile, Iroh and the others were gone to their guest rooms.

Jun Huo laughed. "Yes, that sounds good," he said as they moved on. The next morning, Jun Huo woke up, and waited for his new wife to do the same. He smiled. "I love you," he whispered.
