Aang smiled. "Ah, Omashu. That's where my old friend Bumi lived," he said, then got serious again. "Now, we're going to have to be very subtle about this when we hit Fire Nation waters," he said.

Zuko nodded. "We'll need to dress in black and move in at night." Zuko said as they started drawing up plans to infiltrate the temple.
Meanwhile Kopaka and Hama continued towards Toph's home village.

Aang was ready. "Let's do it. I am truly interested in what Roku had to say," he said. Iroh smiled. "Roku. He was a great avatar from what I hear," he said.

Eventually Kopaka and Hama arrived in a Toph's home village. They managed to convince Toph's parents to allow her to train the Avatar. Then after convincing Toph to come with them, they headed to Omashu.

Back on the sea, the remaining group members were on the move, getting ever closer to the Fire Nation.

They arrived at the fire temple and after Aang spoke with Roku, They met up with Kopaka, Hama and Toph in Omashu. There Aang's water, earth and firebending training took place.

When Aang began his training, he started early in the morning, training in waterbending with Hama in the morning, earthbending with Toph in the afternoon and firebending in the evening with Iroh. In the Fire Nation, Ozai was in a meeting with his generals and with Azula, his favorite child and heiress. "Loyal generals of the Fire Nation, as you know, we have been fighting this war for one hundred years. That means that Sozin's comet will be returning this upcoming summer. Once that happens, we will use its power against the Earth kingdom and Northern water tribe!" he said.

"My lord, what of the avatar, we should capture him before be completes his training." one general said.

Ozai turned in that direction. "Yes, you're right. He must be captured," he said. He then turned to Azula. "Azula, I have a mission for you. You must capture the avatar alive. Do not kill him, for he will just be reborn and we will have to spend more years searching for him," he said.

"Not true father. We simply have to kill the avatar while he is in the avatar state. This this will end the reincarnation cycle." Azula said.

Ozai smiled a frightening smile. "Brilliant, Azula. Do that, and we will have scored a major victory. As for his allies, I don't care what you do to them, but bring the avatar's body here to me as proof that it is done with," he said.

Aang kept up his training, somewhat nervous about soon facing Firelord Ozai in battle, for real. From what Iroh had told him, Ozai was a master firebender, and, if he could burn his own son in the manner that he did, he certainly would have no trouble killing Aang.

Kopaka noticed this and pulled Aang aside. "Aang, remember just now how I told Zuko to banish thinking. Not to exp3ct victory or defeat. The reason was is that you can't think about victory without also considering its opposite, defeat. And thinking about defeat distracts the mind from doing what needs to be done, whatever destiny obliges one to do. Because one who abandons their obligations is already defeated." Kopaka explained to Aang.

Aang sighed. "I have never faced such a powerful firebender before," he said.
