Jun Huo laughed. "Well, shall we get a move on? The sooner we go, the sooner we get to the Northern water tribe," he said. Hama agreed. "Once there, Aang can learn waterbending in relative safety," she added.

Day soon turned to night. As Aang slept that night, he had a dream of his previous life, Avatar Roku, telling him that he had to go to the Fire avatar temple, in the Fire Nation, in order to receive an urgent message from him. The next morning, at breakfast, Aang explained this. "Everyone, I had a dream last night. In it, the previous avatar told me that he had an urgent message for me, and that I need to go to a temple in the Fire Nation to hear it," he said.

"I know what the message is Aang, a comet called Sozin's comet will come and it will allow Ozai to win the hundred year war. You must defeat Ozai before then." Kopaka told Aang.

Iroh smiled. "And I can teach you fire when the time is right, Aang," he said. Aang smiled proudly. Katara put a hand on his shoulder. "As for water, I can teach you, with Hama's help, of course," she said.

Aang knew that his foster father and master was right. "Yes, Monk Gyatso, you're right," he said, turning back to Kopaka. "Take Appa. I will go aboard the ship. After I am done, we can meet up somewhere in the Earth kingdom on the way to the Northern water tribe," he said.
