Aang remained silent as they passed the borders of the Earth Kingdom. Inside, he was mourning the loss of his people. On Kyoshi Island, Suki was training in her art with her fellow Kyoshi warriors, unaware of what was going to happen.

Appa landed on Kyoshi island and Aang was treated like a celebrity.

Mai watched as the ship stopped for Zuko and his men to disembark. Aang took up a pose, ready to airbend as Zuko came closer. "Hello again," Aang said to the burned, scarred prince in an irritated tone.
