Zhao laughed at Zuko as he returned to his ship. Iroh went to his nephew. "Don't listen to him, Prince Zuko. He is truly a fool," he said.

Appa neared the air temple Aang and Gyatso came from. By this time, Kopaka was asleep, his head resting on Katara's lap. Over the last three years, Kopaka had formed a brother sister bond with Katara.

Aang brought Appa in for a landing. "Monk Gyatso, we're home!" he announced.

Gyatso hushed Aang, pointing to Kopaka, who was still asleep with his head resting on Katara's lap. Katara herself was stroking Kopaka as if he were her younger brother.

Appa landed at the air temple, and Aang jumped off. The area was strangely quiet. There were no airbenders, bison or lemurs to be found. "Where is everyone?" he asked.

Kopaka yawned as he woke up. The young water bender went off to explore and found a fire bender helmet. "Aang, Gyatso you gotta see this." Kopaka said.

Aang looked at it before turning to Gyatso. "That's an old style Fire Nation helmet worn by their army in Firelord Sozin's time. They must have found a way up here," he said, beginning to become scared. He then ran to the prayer field, and found the bones of the Air Nomad monks and his old friends. He screamed a loud scream of horror.
