Charlie had never been happier in his life. Not only was he married to Sasha, the two of them ran the Flea Bite. For Charlie, it was like a better, cleaner version of the life he had led prior to being murdered by Carface, going to heaven and meeting Anne-Marie. He and Sasha had seven children: six puppies and an adopted cat son, Oliver, whom they had saved from a life of torment at Belladonna's hands. He turned to Sasha. "It can't get any better," he said.

"well, Let's hope it doesn't get worse." Sasha said as Oliver Playfully pounced onto Charlie. " Gotcha dad!" The kitten said energetically.

Charlie laughed. "Yes, Oliver, you got me!" he said, with a laugh. He turned back to Sasha. "I won't let it get worse. I promise you that," he said.

As Charlie and Sasha enjoyed the company of their family and Itchy, Annabelle appeared out of nowhere. "Hello, Barkin Family and Itchy," she said sweetly.

Annabelle got down to business. "Charlie, Itchy, I need the both of you for a mission. It's a dangerous mission on the savannahs of east Africa," she began.

Annabelle looked down. "In fact, you'll be associating with lions in this mission. The mission is to solve a problem between two lion prides and help defeat a cruel lioness named Zira," she said.

Charlie turned. "Oliver, you'll be staying home. It's too dangerous. You, like your siblings, are just angels-in-training. Plus, your mother would be furious if something happened to you," he said, looking at Sasha.

"Charles Barkin you are not going to Africa without your super powered son and that's final!" Sasha said, refering the fact oliver had super powers now.

Charlie's eldest daughter, Annie, who didn't have super-powers, but rather heavenly ones, wanted to go too. "Mom, can I join them?" she asked.

Annabelle nodded. "Of course. You've nearly mastered healing, which will be important. Now, shall I send you there?" she asked. Charlie looked at Sasha, not wanting to leave her. "Yes," he said. In that moment, Annabelle warped him, Itchy, Annie and Oliver to the east African savannah.
