Annabelle gave them their abilities. "Good. Now, your first destination is Pride Rock, to speak with a lion named Simba. He's the king of this area," she said, showing them an image of Pride Rock.

Annabelle smiled. "The powers that I gave you. You shouldn't worry. Simba and his pride are pretty friendly. Zira, though, is thoroughly evil, and there is a small chance Belladonna might appear on Red's orders, just because he wants her to bring about your downfall," she said before vanishing.

Upon arrival, three young adult lionesses met them at the bottom. The first of them, a lioness with gold fur, electric blue eyes and a tuft of fur on her head, walked closer. "You must be the help we were promised," she said.

The lioness never broke contact with them. "I am Vitani, and with me are my sisters, Jasmine and Kiara. We are Simba's daughters," she said, looking at them. Jasmine had brown eyes and dark-orange brown fur, while Kiara had brown eyes and orange-gold fur. Just then, a hyena female appeared. Her name was Aina, and she had lived through Scar's reign, being notable as the first hyena to turn against him in order to protect her litter. Offering her services, she became Simba's ally, nursing Vitani when Nala couldn't. "Your highnesses, your father is waiting," she said.

Charlie and the others followed her up the side of Pride Rock. Before long, they found themselves in Simba's presence. He smiled. "You must be the allies Annabelle promised us," he said, recalling his and Nala's recent encounter with the angel.
