Balto made his way to the hospital and found the cubs and other children. With the window slightly cracked, he could hear what the anthros were saying. The children had a deadly disease called diphtheria, and Doctor Rafiki was out of medicine. With blizzard conditions rising, the medicine couldn't be brought in. Balto ran back. "It's bad. Your owners might die," he told Jenna and her sisters.

Jenna started to cry, "Please Balto I don't want you to do any thing stupid but I wish there was some thing we can do." She said to him.

Balto looked away. "What can I do? Nothing. Everyone hates me and won't give me a chance to help. I heard your owner say that he was calling a meeting to decide a way to get the medicine here," he said.

Balto licked her back. "I'll meet you tomorrow at the meeting," he said as he walked away. All around them, the snow was blowing around and the winds were getting stronger. "It looks like a blizzard is coming," Ice said.
