Note: I am not ready yet to start. I just want to get it out there. Anyway, I wanted to do something along the lines of Jurassic Park, but not the same. I happened upon cryptids such as bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster. This should be interesting. Just to state, JP is not real in this world. See my notes below.
Title: Crypto Park
Story: In Houston, Texas, a brilliant billionaire business man and amateur scientist/cryptozoologist has discovered that legendary beasts such as bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, the chupacabra, Jersey devil, Devil monkey and other infamous cryptid beasts are, in fact real. A magnificent resort theme park was built, with these creatures, from all over the world, as its star attractions. The hotel is themed to resemble a giant monster hunter's lodge, with exhibits and so on. Many food and retail companies have an outlet there. After years of operation without incident, shady folks sneak into the park to steal some of the beasts for use as bio-warfare beasts, unintentionally releasing some. With the creatures now loose in the park, who will survive among them?
Notes:
. This is a real world-based RP, meaning that it is set in the real world and not part of any crossovers. All the fictional worlds that we usually talk about are just that, fictional, returned to their original place as movies, games, comics, etc.
. It is an OC-driven RP, meaning we will create human OC's to make the RP.
. The Chupacabras depicted in the RP are the two-legged, spike-backed with red, glowing eyes variety sighted in Puerto Rico in the 90's.
. For those that don't know, Devil monkeys are aggressive cryptid primates who are the size of and resemble large baboons.
. There will be aquatic cryptids like the Loch Ness monster, but due to their being aquatic, they don't take part in the chaos.
. If you want to use a cryptid from anywhere in the world, do so. A google search will be helpful.
