In his castle on Crocodile Isle, King K. Rool was revealing his new plan to his wife, Queen Kroc. "It's foolproof! I will go to Kongo Bongo and steal DK's banana hoard!" he said.

K. Rool laughed and looked at his minions, Kritter, Klump and Krusha. "Prepare my galleon! I leave at once!" he said. On Kongo Bongo, the brothers Donkey Kong and Funky Kong were speaking to their parents, Cranky Kong and Wrinkly Kong, about the Kremlings. "Dad, they are lot more of them recently. We need to guard the banana hoard," he said.

"Relax DK, as long as our Banana trees are safe, the loss of our hoard will merely mean rationing our consumption of bananas until our supply is replenished." Cranky said.

Donkey Kong sighed. "Still, I'd feel more comfortable making sure. Also, we may want to start looking for other sources. I hear there's some very nice ones in Cotton Top Cove over in the Northern Kremisphere," he said.
