Trunks and his mother Bulma arrived in Dr Gero's Lab. there they found and activated Android 16. Upon further inspection, they found a Pod with the Omega symbol on it. Inside was a bio android who looked no older that five if he were human.

It was Project: Omega, originally intended to be Dr. Gero's greatest creation. However, he deemed it a failure as it embodied too many of his donor's positive traits, namely, Goku's pure heart.

However, Bulma accidentally leaned on the console that opened the pod. Omega started to wake up. he saw Bulma and Trunks. "Who are you?" He asked innocently.

Bulma jumped back in shock. Once she caught her breath, she looked at him. "My name is Bulma, and this is my son, Trunks," she said.

"Are you my mommy?" He asked. The young android hopped out and started walking around with his arms held out like wings. it was clear he was not evil, nor a threat.
