Malgus groaned as he awoke. He could here voices, muffled, though still understandable. He saw that he was in a Bacta tank, completely naked, save for a pair of undergarment that was not his own. He felt strange though. Normally one would feel weak or be numb due to the Sedatives and Narcotics pumped into them, But Malgus felt stronger, He also sensed the Presence of Cybernetics in his Head. His eyes were not his own, they were advanced Cybernetics that looked like Human eyes, but were far superior. Malgus could see Elana rush towards the Tank. It was only then he noticed that these were republic doctors and scientists.

"What did you Mother Frelling butchers do to him?!" He heard Elana demand as she punched one doctor. She was quickly restrained though. Pride filled Malgus in that his wife, while not sith, still had the ferocity of one. This Pride turned to Anger as a republic trooper struck her with the butt of his riffle. This anger turned to pure rage, which Malgus used to shatter the Tank.

The startled group of republic lab coats were terrified. Malgus used this fear to further fuel him. With a powerful force Leap, he lunged at his prey. The man who dared to strike his Beautiful Elana. With Inhuman strength, Malgus prepared to Pummel him, However he was stopped by a surging Pain in his head as his vision clouded, He fell to the ground, withing in pain. "WHAT..DID..YOU..DO..TO..ME!!" He bellowed as he held his head Elana, who slipped out of her captors grasp, rushed to Malgus, who was confused by this. Malgus was confused, why were they here, what did the republic do to him?, why would they even stick one of their most dangerous and powerful enemies in a bacta tank instead of killing him while he was weakened?

These questions were soon to be answered as a elderly Female Officer Approached calmly, While the others, both soldiers and doctors alike were on edge. Malgus Recognized her. General Garza, the General in charge of The Republic's Sec Ops. "I see your awake, we need to talk." Garza said as Malgus felt the pain leave him. "I know you..General Garza." Malgus said. "And I know you Veradun Daru." She said boldly,not the least bit intimidated by this towering Giant before her. Malgus knew she had to be bold to dare address him by his true name, a Privilege reserved only for his Wife. "Only Elana may call me that, You will Address me as Darth Malgus Republic She-Devil." Malgus growled. "Don't even think you can harm me, Otherwise, you'll be back on the ground Writhing in Pain." Garza said. "We didn't did you out of that clifside on Alderaan, and turn you into aweapon for the republic just for you to turn on us." Garza said coldly. "A weapon..for the republic?" Malgus said in disgust. "Yes, and The implants that keep you under my control also Prevent you from Harming Citizen's, Politicians, Jedi, Privateers and Military personal of the Galactic republic." Garza explain. Malgus saw Satele Shan standing there too. However he could since her opposition to his enhancement. Not because he was an enemy, but because Garza had turned him into a slave soldier, something the republic was staunchly and adamantly opposed to.

Satele Shan frown. "This is not the right way to treat him!" she said irritably.

"Your Objection is noted Grandmaster Shan, but your Order has no say in this matter, We are loosing this war and converting captured sith like Malgus into living weapons will win us this war." Garza said, simplifying this violation of Republic Principals by the justification of survival. "We both want to end this war and restore peace Grandmaster Shan." Garza added. " Peace is a lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion I gain strength. Through Strength I gain power. Through Power I gain Victory. Through Victory my chains are broken, the force shall free me!." He said reciting the sith code. "When I achieve victory in Breaking these chains you shackled me in, I will take Pleasure in killing you Garza, after I kill the man who attacked my Wife." Malgus swore in seething hatred.

Satele sighed. "Have you thought through the potential consequences if this fails?" she asked.

"Indeed, In the unlikely event He breaks free, a Kill switch will release fatal doses of a lethal poison that will kill him." Garza said. "Is this the republic you fight to protect Jedi, one that turns it's enemies into slaves?" Elana questioned Satale.

Satele gave a small smile. "I oppose this just as much as you do," she said.

"Enough small talk, Malgus, Your first mission is to Return to Dromand Kaas and upload the entire Imperial Military and Intelligence mainframes. Your cybernetics will allow you to easily store the data." He said. "I'm not military or a Imperial agent, I don't have access to such data." He lied, though as a Darth, he was in fact authorized to access that data. "I don't like liars." Garza said, shocking hm mildly as Malgus complied. "I..will.. Obey." He said as she relented. "How very wise of you. If you try to warn the Empire of your True activity, your free will will be subverted and I will continue the Mission via remote override." Garza said.

Satele nodded. "Go, and may the Force be with you," she said.

Malgus turned to Elana. "Lets go." He said. "Hold it, the Twi'lik stays here as further leverage." Garza said. Malgus was about to protest. Before he could, Elana calmed him with a deep kiss. "I'll be fine Veradun." She assured him. Malgus turned to Satele. Throught the force, he sent her a warning. 'I am holding you responsible for keeping my wife safe Jedi, if she dies, none of you will survive.' Malgus warned.

Satele nodded. "She will be protected," she stated.

Malgus then left on his ship, which had been captured too. The empire was thrilled Malgus was alive, his supposed death had hurt Moral. Malgus entered the citadel under the Pretense of accessing files to plan his next campaign. It worked. Once in, he carefully copied all the files while leaving the originals and making sure no security measures or tracing programs would compromise the data.

Malgus was almost done. He had downloaded the files. It was too risky to transmit the data, so he had to personally deliver it. He cloaked himself in the darkside to conceal his implants and cybernetics. Upon exciting, he requisitioned a speeder biker to the Dromand Kaas space port and boarded his ship.

Elana stayed close to Satele, knowing this Jedi would keep her safe. "So when did you first face Malgus?" Elana asked, trying to break the ice.
