The days passed, and everyone geared up for the execution of Zaheer, which had been passed along by the radio.

it was less execution and more gladiatorial death combat between Zaheer and Pohatu. The Arena was closed off so Zaheer couldn't attack anyone outside. hundreds of spectators news crews and camera's filled the stands as the Pro-bender announcer acted as commentary. Pohatu wanted everyone to see him fight and beat Zaheer.

Mako and Asami sat among the crowd in the stands, horrified. There should have been an easier way. Zaheer snarled. "Come to me, boy! I will give your flesh to the birds and your bones to the beasts!" he shouted.

However, Pohatu had prepared for this. Varrick, his Uncle through Marriage to his aunt Ju Li had made him a outfit to fight in. It was armor that protected him as well as kept Zaheer from Suffocating him.
