It was a fairly peaceful Day in Metropolis, The city had been rebuilt from the invasion and now had Superman protecting the city.
However the peace was shattered as a streaking pod shot through the skys of Metropolis.

Superman had been patrolling the city moments before he saw the pod streaking through the sky. He followed it, wondering what it could be doing here.

The Pod crashed in the middle of the park's lake. Inside, a young Kryptonian boy struggled to get free for fear of drowning. "Help!" He cried in Kryptonese, the Kryptonian language.

Superman streaked down to the lake, dove in and lifted the pod out onto the land. Using his super strength, he began to pry the door open. "Be calm, young one," he said, using his x-ray vision in order to see inside.

The boy saw The crest for the house of El, the symbol of hope, this brought him peace. "Are you Kal-El?" The boy asked in kryptonese.

"I was sent from Krypton, my family were the keepers of all krypton's knowledge." He said. "That knowledge lives in me." He added.
