Po's Blunder
Po, Tigress and Song finally reached the courtyard of the Jade Palace, pausing to catch their breath. The revelation that Su, Song's beautiful but creepy maternal aunt, was a thief and villain was a shock. For now, though, they were safe. Po was visibly freaked out, as Su was one of the only people that he was terrified of. Tigress sighed.
"Well, that was something I never planned on," she said.
Song looked down sadly.
"Same here. I can't believe Aunt Su betrayed us," she said, referring to her and her mother.
Tigress looked at her sympathetically.
"You couldn't have known. She hid it well," she said.
Song finally smiled.
"Thanks, Tigress. You're like the sister I never had," she said.
Meanwhile, Po was still stressed.
"Cats freak me out so much...those eyes...those claws..." he said, not thinking about his words.
Tigress and Song glared at him. An angry clearing of the throat from Tigress snapped the panda back to reality. He realized what he had just said.
"Sorry, I didn't mean you two...you two are...I'm in a lot of trouble, aren't I?" he said.
Tigress gestured to herself.
"I guess I, the girl who has been your constant friend and girlfriend, should leave. I wouldn't want to freak you out," she said angrily.
"Tigress, I am sorry!" he said.
"You need to learn how to think before you speak," she replied.
Her anger then melted away, replaced by a gentle sympathy.
"Po, I love you and the way you feel is totally natural. Su is quite intimidating," she said.
Po looked at her.
"Yes, something we agree on," he said.
Song smiled at them.
"Well, if you don't need me, I will be training," she said.
"For what?" Tigress asked.
"The day is coming when I will have to confront her again," she said before leaving.
Song entered the training hall, ready to be tested. Outside, Po and Tigress knew that this had to occur. This was Song's fight alone.
