A poem for Krypto & The Clone Wars:
The Horrors Of War
I am Brainy Barker
Recently, all things have changed
Formerly, we only had to worry about a few enemies, like Mechanikat
Now, that is over with
We have been brought into a new galaxy
We are in a galaxy at war
We have made many noble allies
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Anakin Skywalker
Ahsoka Tano
Mace Windu
Yoda
The clone troopers
All of their allies
Krypto, myself, the dog stars and Streaky are now drawn into this
Time has passed
We have seen the horrors of war
Friends killed before our eyes
We face dangerous enemies
Count Dooku
General Grievous
Asajj Ventress
These are just a few of them
I worry
Krypto and I's plans for a family have been put on hold
I cannot imagine raising a pup in these conditions
Krypto, my love, I worry for you each time you go out
What if the enemy somehow finds a way to destroy you?
I do not want to think of such things
