Krypto OC Profile: Draco
Introduction:
Draco is the son of Krypto the Superdog and Brainy Barker. He is cute as a pup and unbelievably handsome as an adult. Though he can be rather arrogant at times, he cares deeply for those close to him. He received his name due to an incident that occurred the day he was born. While his parents and the other members of the Dog Star Patrol were admiring the newborn, Draco sneezed, sending out a short little burst of fire from his mouth as he did so. This led to Krypto nicknaming him "little dragon" and led to him being named "Draco". In puppyhood, he manifested all of the powers of both of his parents. Through training, he was helped to hone his firebreathing ability and those powers inherited from his parents. As he developed into a young adult, he showed his true power: the ability to shapeshift into a large and fearsome Mountain dragon (the typical western/medieval/fairy tale dragon).
Description (Dog form):
In dog form, Draco resembles Krypto quite a bit, except for having more Afghan hound-like facial features. In terms of coloration, he has silver fur. He also has Brainy's green eyes. In this form, his voice sounds like Aladdin from the Disney movie of the same name.
Description (Dragon form):
In dragon form, Draco is large and has a crocodile-like head, fearsome reptilian eyes with slit pupils, dark green scales, whitish-gray underbelly, two large, typical dragon wings, four legs, large, powerful talons and short, spiky horns on his head. As a dragon, he sounds like Jafar when he is transformed into a giant cobra.
Powers (Dog form):
He possesses all of the powers that both Krypto and Brainy have, plus his firebreathing and shapeshifting abilities.
Powers (Dragon form):
When in dragon form, Draco still has his parents' abilities and, obviously, his firebreathing. He also has the ability to hypnotize just about anyone. This is a power he can only use as a dragon. When he is using it, his eyes glow ruby red and swirl around (like the eyes of Jafar's snake staff in Disney's Aladdin). He can grip and pick up beings and objects with his talons.
Personality:
Though Draco can be rather arrogant on account of his abilities, he is truly a nice young dog who very much cares about his parents and friends. He is often the first to jump into battle. The Dog Stars, when he is an adult, often use him as a weapon of intimidation against Mechanikat and Snooky Wookums, as they have seen him as a dog, but are more than aware of his powers as a dragon and thus are terrified of him, as he has wounded and defeated them on more than a few occasions.
Weakness:
His temper can be used against him, though the villains don't always remember this.
