Kovu smiled as he wrapped Lupe in a hug. "Thank you Lupe. Can we see Nava now?" He asked. Kovu winced as the sun started to rise. Ow!" He said as he started to get burned. Kovu made for shade. " I can't walk in sunlight anymore." He said with a frightened look.

Lupe left and returned with a black, hooded cloak and the body of a large, tree-dwelling marsupial hunted by the wolves. "Here," she said.

Kovu put the cloak on and drank the blood. "Thank you Lupe." Kovu said, his smile showing his fangs.

Kovu yawned. " But Tani and I don't have a home, at least one we can go back to." Kovu said as he climbed into Vitani's arms and rested his head on her shoulder. "and we don't even have a family, at least not a loving one." He said. "Our parents never loved us, they only pretended to, they were always trying to hurt others." Kovu said, tears flowing from his eyes.

Shere Khan looked at a map. "Go and prepare Scar's ship. When we get hold of Kate and Lilly, we will put them aboard and cast off for Outland Island," he said.
