Patrick awoke from his sleep, expecting the barracks of the warlord camp he and his brothers were forced to call home after they were taken there as infants. Instead he saw the wide open savannah's of Africa. Once more, he was expectingting to wake up as a human, instead he saw, after examination that he was a lion cub.He was a Tawny cub with a tuft of black mane and a black tail.
Patrick then saw two lion cubs laying asleep on the ground as he ran over to them, unaare that they were in fact his brothers.
"Hey, wake up, wake up." Patrick said, trying to stay on his feet as he was not use to running, walking or even standing on four legs as he tried to wake the two cubs up before they were lunch for a vulture, hyeena, or victems of other lions who killed strange cubs.
You there." Patrick jumped as he heard a deep and commanding voice. But oddly enough it sounded familer. He turned to see Mufasa, but how was that possible, he was a fictional caracter.
"Yes sir?" Patrick asked. "What is your name." He asked softly, as he eyed Patrick. Patrick knew he had to think fast. "Animus sir." He said.
"Well Animus, I am Mufasa. Now tell me, where is your Pride?" Mufasa asked, in a concerned fatherly tone. These cubs were no older than his son, yet they all looked thin.
"We have none, we're alone." Animus said.

Hunter, after awakening, chose this moment to take a look at Mufasa. "Hello, your majesty. I am Hunter," he said.

"Your going to kill us now right?" Animus aske as Mufasa's eyes grew wide with shock. "No no, you hree will stay with my Pride." He said, rubbing Animus and Hunter's heads to assure them he ment no harm.

Just then, Simba came bounding over the hill. He then saw the new cubs. "Who are they, Dad?" he asked.

Nava strolled in a few minutes later, "Hi there I'm Nava." He said to them.

Just then, an adult lioness appeared. She was fearsome-looking. Her name was Zira, and she was Mufasa's sister-in-law. She approached the king. "So, did you and Sarabi start having cubs again when Scar and I weren't looking?" she asked sarcastically.

Scar walked in, "What is this about cubs I'm hearing?" He asked them.

Zira motioned Scar to follow her a distance away. "These cubs just showed up. Mufasa is letting them stay," she said.

"Yes and I expect them to be shown the same treatment as any other cub here." Mufasa said to the two lions. Animus stayed between Mufassa's legs as he spoke to Scar and Zira. It was then Sarabi returnd with her hunting part from another successful hunt. "Mufasa, who are these cubs?" She asked, smiing warmily at Animus and his brothers. " I'm Animus, this is hunter and Nava." He said. "Well hello there, you three look like your starving lets get you some food." Sarabi said to them as they feasted on the Zebra she and her party brought back.
Sarabi left with Mufasa to talk before giving scar and zira the look that said 'If these cubs are harmed in any way, you will both die horrible deaths'

As they ate, Simba came up to the new cubs. "Hi, I'm Simba. The king is my dad and the queen is my mom," he said.

Nava smiled, "Hi Simba I'm Nava and this is a great home you have here." He said to him.

Simba smiled. "Maybe later, I can introduce you to my friend Nala. She's a cool lioness," he said.

"Hi Simba, I'm Animus and this is hunter, my other brother Nava you already know." Animus said with a smile. "When we're done eating you wanna go play?" Animus asked.
Before Simba could Answer, Mufassa and Sarabi appeared. " Simba, your mother and need to talk with you." He said with a smile as he led simba to a Private chat.
"Your Father and I are thinking of adopting these new cubs, and were wondering if you would object to having three brothers?" Sarabi asked her son.

Simba looked at his parents warily. "Will I still be the next king?" he asked, not wanting to lose his future throne.
