Balto smiled as the doctors grabbed the medicine and and took it inside. He then proceeded to give the needed medicine to the children. They were all saved. Moments later, Balto was surrounded by anthros, who began petting him and telling him what a good boy he was. Just then, Mufasa came out. "Come on, boy. There's some special cubs who want to see you," he said. He led the wolf-dog inside to the bed where Kovu and Vitani were. They were excited to see him. Vitani hugged him when he got close. "Balto. We would have been lost without you!" she said. Mufasa smiled proudly and rubbed Balto's head. "Because of your bravery, I think there is no greater reward than for you to be adopted into our family. From this day forward, you will be our pet," he said. At that moment, Balto saw Jenna at the door and ran to her, knowing that she was in love with him. "I'll be going home with you. I just got adopted by your owners," he said.

Just then, through the open door, Balto saw Boris and ran to him. "Boris, I'll be going home with Jenna," he said.

Balto sighed. "I don't know," he said. He then looked at Jenna as she was coming. "Jenna, I want you to meet Boris. He raised me," he said.

Boris smiled, "Its nice to meet you miss Jenna." He said to her, Jenna smiled, "And its nice to meet the one helped this handsome guy to follow his dream." She said to him then walked over to Balto.

Balto smiled proudly. "I promise that I will come and visit you, Boris," he said. Just then, Aniu appeared, though only Balto, Boris and Jenna could see and hear her. "Well-done, my son," she said. Balto was shocked.

Aniu smiled. "I am proud to be with him again. I lost him when he was a puppy during a blizzard and never found him. I eventually died and became the spirit you see now," she said.
