Orlando Honeymoon Pt 1--Arrival


My handsome Humphrey

This is Kate speaking

It is the happiest day of my life

We have just gotten married

It was a wonderful ceremony

Now it is time for our honeymoon

We have chosen a place

We are headed to Orlando, Florida

For several days, we will explore the parks of Universal Studios and Walt Disney World

I am excited

For some time, we travel until we hit Florida

We stop for the night at a small inn, then we continue on our way

Finally, as evening rolls around, we enter Orlando

We stop for dinner at a Chinese restaurant and then move on

At last, we get to our real hotel

It is none other than the Animal Kingdom Lodge

It is glorious

We are immersed in the spirit of Africa

The opening chant of The Lion King is playing in my head

We check in and head for our room, stopping to look at the African artifacts

It is done

We are here

We are going to have the time of our life on this trip

Soon, we get ready for bed

We say that we love each other and share a passionate kiss

After that, we fall asleep, knowing that tomorrow, we hit our first park

That park is Universal Studios

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 2--Universal Studios


Kate, my gorgeous she-wolf

It is morning now

We awaken in our room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge

We both shower and get dressed

We then head down to The Mara restaurant for a quick breakfast

We have Mickey-shaped waffles and pastries

After that, we head out to our rented vehicle and get in

We take off and head for the park

Upon arrival, we park in the parking garage

Then we go across the moving walkway and pay the entry fee

Our time of fun has begun

We pass the theater and the endangered species store

As we move along, we head to the part we want to see first

That is Jurassic Park

We head through the replica of the gates from the film

We ride Jurassic Park The Ride

Kate, you are so cute when you are screaming

Next, we spend some time at the Jurassic Park Visitor's Center

We play the games and shop the gift shop

After that, it is lunch time

We go to the Jurassic Park restaurant and get chicken, potatoes and corn

Following that, we explore the rest of the park

We see attractions based on many films and shows

E.T., Jaws and more

For the rest of the day we have fun

When dinner time rolls around, we go for burgers at one of the restaurants

And so ends the second day of our honeymoon

When we return to the lodge, we go swimming at the pool

Then we go to bed

Tomorrow, the fun continues

Tomorrow, we begin our time at the Disney parks

The first park is The Magic Kingdom

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 3--The Magic Kingdom


Good morning, Humphrey

This is Kate

Get up and get ready, today is the day we hit the Disney parks

We are going to The Magic Kingdom

It is the start of the moment we've been waiting for

We shower and eat at The Mara

Then we board the shuttle bound for the park

A short time later, we arrive

With eagerness, we enter those gates into that happy place

We first ride It's A Small World

Oh how I love that ride

After that, we go to New Fantasyland

It is exciting to see it in person after seeing so much of it on TV

We ride all the new rides

We continue on, stopping in each land along the way

We ride so many rides and see so many attractions

Pirates Of The Caribbean

The Jungle River Cruise

The Magic Carpets Of Aladdin

The Hall Of Presidents

The Enchanted Tiki Room

Liberty Square River Boat

Mickey's Philharmonic 3D

Peter Pan's Flight

Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial

Oh how happy is today

At the end of the day, at 10 PM, we see the final parade and fireworks

After that, we return to the lodge

Sleep well, handsome

Tomorrow, we hit Disney's Animal Kingdom

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 4--Disney's Animal Kingdom


Good morning, Kate

Today, we have more park adventures

It is the day we hit Disney's Animal Kingdom, the biggest park

We get out of bed and shower, then we have breakfast

After that, we board the shuttle

Quickly, we get to the park

It is time for the fun to begin

We walk under the lush trees and plants

Our first stop is Harambe Village

It is like walking right into an actual African village

We ride Kilimanjaro Safaris

We see numerous species, such as lions, crocodiles and hippos

After that, we have lunch at the Tusker House Restaurant

We eat African style roasted meats

We then move on and see the gorilla habitat

It is amazing beyond words

From there, we go to Asia

There, we see tigers, bats, Komodo Dragons and more

All the while, we are taking pictures

We take pictures at the Tree Of Life

We visit Dinoland USA and ride the ride there

I am glad to be experiencing it with you at my side

We stay there most of the day

Then, it is time to go back to the lodge

We have a 7 PM dinner reservation at their restaurant, Boma: Flavors Of Africa

We go to our room and get ready

Kate, you look as gorgeous as ever

We go down to the restaurant and get our table

We dine on true African cuisine

After dinner, it is time for a dip in the pool

Last, we go to bed

Sleep tight, gorgeous

We are going to Epcot tomorrow

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 5--Epcot


Here we are, Humphrey!

We are at Epcot

I, Kate, your new wife, am happy to be sharing it at your side

We enter the park and the fun starts

We see the park's central lagoon

From there, we head to the Land Pavilion

We see the show The Circle Of Life: An Environmental Fable

After that, we go on the boat ride

We see the areas where the parks' produce is grown

After that, we have lunch in the eating area

We have chicken and mashed potatoes

We then move on

We go to The World Showcase

It is our plan to see all eleven countries

We see the terra-cotta warriors in China

We see real viking weapons in Norway

We ride The River Of Time in Mexico

We eat chocolate cake in Germany

We get exquisite candy animals in Japan

We eat baklava in Morocco

It is wonderful

We ride more rides elsewhere

Our day of adventure continue until late in the day

We then leave to prepare

We are going to the Downtown Disney area

We're going to eat at the dinosaur-themed restaurant called T. Rex

After that, we're going to the DisneyQuest arcade

It's going to be great

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 6--Downtown Disney


Well, Kate, we are near the end of our trip

I, Humphrey, your new husband, am glad to have you at my side

Today, we had an epically awesome adventure at Epcot

Now it is evening and it is dinner time

We are here at Downtown Disney, the resort's shopping, dining and entertainment complex

We go to T. Rex, the area's dinosaur-themed restaurant

Owned by the people who own Rainforest Cafe, it is a great place

It has robots of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures

We get our seats

I order fire-roasted chicken

You get a burger

After that, we get their volcano-themed desert

Once we pay our check, we go and take pictures at the restaurant

From there, we go to the shops and the DisneyQuest Arcade

There, we have a lot of fun

We ride virtual versions of Disney park rides

After our fun, we go shopping at the stores

When we are done, we go back to the lodge

As we get ready for bed, I admire how gorgeous you are

We then kiss

Orlando Honeymoon Pt 7--Disney Hollywood Studios & The End


I am Kate, the new wife of Humphrey

Recently, we came to Orlando for our honeymoon

Now, it is the last day

This has been fun, Humphrey

We arrive at the park and begin

We ride the Great Movie Ride

We also hit the Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror

You are so funny when you scream on the ride

We see the shows

We enjoy the day

Finally, it is done

We go to the lodge for the final night

In the morning, we bathe, have breakfast, check out and hit the road

Humphrey, I will cherish this memory forever

We have many reminders of our trip

We bought many things

We took well over 400 pictures

I can't wait to get home

When we do, we will show my parents, Lilly, Garth, your brothers and their loves

May our marriage be blessed and last forever
