I am Kovu, in the few short years I have lived so far, I have seen more than most beings will ever see in they're whole lives.
I was only about a year old when me, Kopa, Kiara, and Vitani were saved by Master Tigress during the massacure of Clan Ordo by the false Mandalore. He calls himself Mandalore the Vindicated, but he is nothing of the sort.
Kirar and kopa are biological siblings, as are I and Vitani. but we are all that is left of our once great clan, so we are family, and among mandalorians, family is more than blood.
Vitani is three years my senior, I had no father, one day our mother woke up and knew she was with cub. Tigress took great intrest in this, especially since all four of us are force sensitive, not something mandalorians are known for.
I was wonce Inspired by Jedi General Tai-Lung, his courage and skills were worthy of being mandalore as was his love for his wife, married to attain a vital planet's alliance for the republic.
Yet his betrayal has made me think. I am mandalorian, yet Mandalore has declared all of my clan, dead and alive as Dar'mando, No longer Mandalorions. It is a terrible shame.
I wonder, does opposing Mandalore, false or not make me a traitor like Tai Lung? Master Tigress says to let go of my fears, but fear is a survival instinct, it cautions us to danger, can temper our rage, and even motivate us to act in ways we never thought possible.
I wonder why master Tigress is so distant, why she has never laughed cried or even lost her cool. Is this what being Jeti, our word for Jedi is like. an organic droid devoid of all that makes us great, our emotions?
Even now that I am mandalore, my Burdens seem only to grow, I have severed all ties with the sith, but until the uneasy peace between the Empire and the Republic is broken, I wage total war against the Hutts, the Exchange, black sun. With the help of the Evokai, we have taken the world the hutts stole as their own.
When news of renewed hostilities reatched me, I was..conflicted. as a Jedi, I was taught that there is no emotion, there is peace, but to mandalorians peace and torture are the same.
