this is about the awesome series of Novels and the too short animated series adaptation. The first of which focuses on a young mouse named Mathias who wants to protect his home of Redwall Abbey from the Evil Cluney the scouge who seeks it as a fortress. To do this, Mathias seeks the lost sword of Martin the warrier, the heroic founder of the Abbey.
Along his journy, Mathias meets allies and enemies alike as he not only thwarts cluney's efforts, but also matures.
