Alex moved them on. "We have very little time," he said. Suddenly, before he could keep walking, the hyenas appeared from nowhere. "We have you now," he said as the others began to put Humphrey and the others in chains.

Humphrey looked at his chains. "Hey, these are the same sort of chains used to hold Shere Khan. The more you struggle, the more they tighten," he said.

Kate looked at him then at the hyenas, "I'll ask you again where do you plan on taking us." She asked them with a growl.

Humphrey said nothing as they were marched into the estate of Lord Taka. Upon arrival, they were met by a young male lion. He was dirty, unkempt and scrawny. The smell wafting off of him burned Humphrey's nose. "Yes, yes, we have some warriors!" he said in an idiotically excited tone.

Humphrey nodded as the young lion led them before Lord Taka, also called Scar, who was his father. "Ah, I see that we have guests," Scar said.

Scar laughed as he rose from his throne. As he did so, three lionesses appeared behind him. The leader was Scar's wife, Zira, while the others were her sisters, Spotty and Dotty. Scar pulled the cover off something large in the room's center. It revealed the cannon. "This is what will destroy kung fu," he said. No one saw a pair of eyes watching them from the catwalks above.

Scar laughed. "You're wrong," he said. Suddenly, a white flash leaped down, revealing herself as Mistress Aniu. Using her legendary fan, she freed Humphrey and the others. Scar was stunned, but it was Zira who attacked with her sisters.
