My dear Kodi, the love of my life
I would like to speak to you
The topic is your increasingly conceited attitude
You believe that because you are the son of Balto, you are the greatest
However, lineage alone does not make you great
You are falling into the same trap as your Uncle Steele
Kodi, I love you and know that you are better than this
If you continue down this path, you will only find destruction
Most of all, you will lose me
Would you rather see me at the side of another male? I think not
I know that you love me, I can see it in your eyes
But your family, the team and I want this for you
You are too good for this, Kodi
You can do better, much better
You are still a very young dog
You have your whole career ahead of you
Remember what pride did to your uncle's career
His musher even died because of it
Is that what you want? I didn't think so
You belong to me, to your family, to the team, to everyone who loves you
It would be a shame to see one with such promise destroyed by his attitude
