I'm working on a potentially AU idea about Humphrey, Salty, Mooch and Shakey being brothers. No criticisms, as I'm having fun.

I am Humphrey, mate to Kate and a new pack leader

This is addressed to my friends, Salty, Shakey and Mooch

Everyone thinks of us as a group of friends

While this isn't completely untrue, there is more to it

We are brothers from the same litter

I am the eldest, while Shakey is the youngest

Salty is next after me, then Mooch

We had a rough past

Our parents became ill and died when we were pups, and so our aunt took us in

So upset were we about Mom and Dad that we just started referring to ourselves as friends

Yes, we hid our brotherhood in our puphood grief

Now, those days are over

Though I may have a mate now, remember, we are brothers still

I will always be here for you

Soon, we will need to explain the situation to Kate, as she thinks we're friends

I hope that she won't be mad about the secret

I doubt it, she usually understands

I am glad to have you three
