Before Shere Khan could even answer, someone entered. It was a pink female whippet in Israelite robes. She looked up at the kings. "Shere Khan, king of Babylon, I am Annabelle, prophetess of the God of Israel. Unto thee, He says to repent and amend your ways, for your wickedness has brought judgment upon your head," she said. Some guards tried to seize her, but they were stopped in their tracks. "Heed this word, king of Babylon, and obey," she said.
