Just then, they saw something that would explain it.
"Please, no, I just need more time to pay!" A Imeckian man pleaded as the police led him away. "Sorry pal, you know the law, you miss your taxes once, we takeyour Property and throw you in jail!" The police said. "Papa!" His two young children cried as Patrick's eye's widened in horror, recalling how his Parent's couldn't pay the warlord who took over their Village and were infected with a fatal disease to make an example. Patrick ran towards him to try and stop the Police, But an Imeckian old man stoped him. He watched helplessly as the man was taken away.
"Why did you stop me, I could've saved him." Patrick said. "It would've only caused trouble." The Man said.

He said. Showing Krillin fighting off several Police and Military trying to Seize the capsule corp ship. "In addition to harboring a ship, and assaulting my Police and Military forces, he also Brought a alien creature to our world. Luckily, our champion Ledgic defeated this rouge and captured his beast. the criminal will be executed tomorrow and his beast will become one of my new pets!" He said, before the screen when blank. The Old Man saw the looks of horror on Patrick, Goku and Gohan's faces. " I take it they were your friends, My condolences." He said, bringing them inside and explaining how things worked here. "Don Kee is indeed the ruler of our world, however he bleeds us dry with taxes us to finance his Lavish house and lifestyle. To get more money, he outlawed the owning of space ships and forces Merchants to do business here, that is why Imecka is also called the Traveler's Prison. Those who can't pay are taken away to prison and their Possessions seized. Those who try to fight like your friend, are put to death in a mandatory-attendence public execution all Emeckians are forced to attend. The reason we all must seem like greedy crooks to you is a tragic one,it is all we can do in order to survive." He said. |
