Rodaan continued his training, memorizing the Jedi code, becoming a Jedi guardian and building his own blue-bladed lightsaber. He was now ready for the final test.

"Mission, Rodaan found my lightsaber." Flint said as he sat there with his love. It was a painful memory for him, The Taris Padawan Massacre

Mission sighed. "Everything will work out in the end," she said sweetly.

"I know love." He said, kissing her as he leaned into her, needing comfort.

Rodaan, now wearing Jedi robes, was ready for his final test. "What is this final test, Master?" he asked Shaphan. In the days since Rodaan started trainin, Flint's bill had been paid in full, so now the wise Jedi was free to focus on his student. "An ancient grove has been corrupted, causing the Kath hounds in the area to become savage," he said. "You would have me kill Kath hounds? That's what's causing the problem?" Rodaan replied. Shaphan shook his head. "The Kath hounds are a symptom of the true problem. Just remember, those on the dark path are not always lost forever," he said. Rodaan nodded and left, heading for the grove. Upon arrival, he was a female Cathar, no older than young adulthood. She was kneeling as if in meditation. Suddenly, her golden-yellow eyes flashed open, her face taking on an expression of wrath. From the fact that she had a lightsaber hilt on her belt, Rodaan guessed she must be a fallen Jedi and was responsible for the wave of darkness in the grove. She took the lightsaber from her belt and ignited its purple blade. "I will be your doom!" she shouted in a strongly accented voice. Rodaan ignited the blue blade of his lightsaber. The female Cathar attacked viciously, their glowing energy blades clashing with a burning hum. The duel lasted for a good while, until, Rodaan won. He did not kill her nor cut off her hands. Rather, he used a quick Force push, which knocked her back. The Cathar snarled, knowing that she had been beaten. "Who are you?" Rodaan asked her. The Cathar frowned. "I am Juhani. What brings you here?" she asked. Rodaan looked at her. "I was sent by the Jedi council to cleanse the taint from the grove," he said. Juhani looked down in shame and sadness. "Then do it. Take my life. Isn't apparent that I can never be saved? I am a disgrace to the Jedi," she said. Rodaan would not kill her. "You were a Jedi? What caused this?" he asked. Juhani then told her story: how she had struck down her Jedi master, Quatra, and severely injured her to the point that she believed her to be dead. What she did not know is that she had survived. Rodaan spoke to Juhani, convincing her to return to the way of the light. She finally smiled. "I thank you, Master Jedi. I shall return to the Jedi council. I am sure that I will hear great things about you in the future," she said. Proud, Rodaan returned to the Jedi academy, where Shaphan congratulated him. "You have done a great thing. Remember the lesson in her trial," he said. Rodaan acknowledged this lesson and went to rest. That night, he had a dream of Revan and Malak in the old ruins nearby. The next morning, he met up with Bastila. Unknown to him, she had had the same dream. "Good morning, Bastila," he said.

Bastila was deep in thought about her dream last night. So much so that she didn't notice Rodaan or his greeting.
Flint, although already paid, he was still on Dantooine. For a reason beyond him, the Ebon hawk itself just refused to take off. It was if some jigher power was keeping him here. With nothing else to do, he wandered around the enclave.

Rodaan went to go and tell the Jedi council about the dream. He described it in exact detail. It was decided that he would investigate, and should take Bastila with him. He went to find her. "The council is sending me on a mission to the ruins and they want you to come with me," he said.

"No, I cannot. I must meditate on a recurring dream that has been plauging me." she insisted, that however was only half the reason.
Flint over heard this and smelled potential profit. He rounded up his crew for the op and moved out.

Rodaan nodded. "Was this dream of Revan and Malak by any chance? If so, I had it too," he said.

Bastila was stunned, but tried her best not to show it.
Meanwhile en route, Flint and his group were pinned down by mandalorian bandits. Flint growled as holo commed Rodaan. "Rodaan, mandalorian bandits pinned us down." he said

Rodaan spoke into the comlink. "Hold tight, I will be there as soon as I can," he said. He then looked at Carth and Bastila. "Come on, we need to get out there," he said.

With Rodaan's redemption of Juhani, things had quieted down among the Kath hounds. The deadly carnivores ignored them as they walked toward where the call had come from.

Before long, they could hear the clashing of battle going on. "That would be them," he said.
