Patrick was taken to the healer. He had a high fever. "This is no ordinary fever. Your decision to join the jedi was in such conflict with how you see your self that you are undergoing a transformation of spirit." She said. (like how zuko did in book two, earth.)

Josiah sighed. "Will he come out of this?" he asked.

"Only time will tell." The healer said. "It all depends on his will to go through with the metamorphosis." Praven, the Padawan to master Kewiks, and former Sith lord.

"All we can do is pray he chooses correctly." Praven said sadly.
In Patrick's fever induced dream. he was sitting upon the throne as the Imperial prince. Two robed and hooded figures stood there. On his left was his birth Father the emperor, to his right, his adopted father, Josiah.
(can you play Vichiate, trying to tempt him embrace his title of prince as well as Josiah trying to get him to reject the emperor's evil.)

Vitiate smiled. "Return to the empire, my son. You are destined to be a Sith lord. Like me, you can gain an extended life. Allow me to teach you the power I used on my own homeworld," he said.

Josiah then spoke. "No, my son. Do not accept. The Sith emperor is a monster. He has murdered many. Think about that. Innocent beings having their lives ripped from them. Is that what you really want?" he said.

"Stop it, I need to think!" He said, he was torn between two tempting choices. It was then that his birth mother appeared. She was Bogan, a beautiful pure blood sith female. "My son, remember what I taught you. When you cannot decide with your mind.." She started. "Decide with your heart." He finished, hugging her. He turned to Vitiate. Leave this place Vitiate, you are no longer my father. I already learned the ritual from Apophis, but I have no need for a power that calls for so many innocent lives! I am Neither dark sider nor light sider, I walk the Path of Reven!" He declared.

Josiah was proud. At the boy's statements, the image of Vitiate faded into darkness.

"Yes dad." Patrick smiled.
Patrick woke up. His mother stood there, it was she who allowed Josiah to enter his mind. "Mom, your alive!" Patrick said excitedly as he hugged his mom. Bogana nodded, explaining how she escaped after killing his older sister. She formed the revenites and had sensed his distress, so she used force transit to teleport here.
