Bruce left the country to try and help negotiate the Nuclear talks with Iran as Bruce Wayne. So Patrick put a spell on Alfred so the Butler wouldn't notice they were replaced with Magic clones. They tracked deathstroke to a Oil rig.Patrick went as Robin, and Damian went as..well Damian.

Bruce, of course, remained unaware of this as he continued to work. In this mind, he was worried about the state of Gotham City. When the criminals figured out that Batman was absent, they would exploit that opportunity. What if the Joker, Mr. Freeze, Bane, the Penguin or any the others were already attempting something?
