Radditz explained that he came from Planet Vegeta, and that he and goku where brothers and part of a race called sayains. They were a noble race at war with a tyrant called frieza.

Radditz stood up, going up to goku, he used a technique to restore the knowledge he lost by placing his hand on Goku's head, restoring his pre-programmed knowledge.
