Meanwhile, eighteen-year old David Jones awoke in another area. He had transformed into a red-furred, green-eyed anthro wolf. He began to look around, seeing wolf-themed marks on rocks and trees.

Patrici walked around. He was starting to get scared. Patrick was unaware he was close to knothole village.

As soon as David took another step, he was surrounded by armed wolf warriors. The group parted, and out from them came a gorgeous she-wolf with silver and white fur, sapphire blue eyes, and raven black hair. He recognized her as Lupe Wolf. "State your name," he demanded. David decided to not use his real name. He thought for a long moment and thoughts of the film The Prince of Egypt came to his mind. He realized that, in the transformation, his voice, for some reason, had changed to that of actor Val Kilmer when playing Moses in that film. He then decided on his name. "Moses. My name is Moses," he stated. The spears were lowered. "Follow us," he said.

Patrick meanwhile was found by Sonic who took him back to Knothole.

Sonic smiled at the young green dragon mobian. "Welcome to Knothole," he said. Meanwhile, Moses was brought back to the Wolf Pack village to be questioned by Lupe.

Sonic held up a hand. "Wait here," he said. He then ran off to get Sally. The two of them had recently gotten married. "Hey, Sal, can you come here for a second?" he asked.

Sonic turned. "I found him in the woods and brought him here before he could be found by Robotnik's forces," he said. Meanwhile, Moses sat before Lupe. The she-wolf wore an elaborate Native American headdress and by her sat her family: A tall male wolf with jet-black fur, obviously Lupe's husband. With them were two equally gorgeous twin she-wolves about his age and a brown-furred boy of ten. Before all of them, he gave an accounting of himself.
