Krypto put Draco's blanket over him as the sleep protocol kicked in, dimming the lights and putting the ship on autopilot. "Sleep tight, Draco. I love you," he said.

Krypto waited until Draco fell asleep before turning to Brainy. "You will have to perfom the test. I can't handle kryptonite without it affecting me," he said.

Krypto shook his head. "It is time to sleep. We will do it when we wake up. I will prepare Draco for it," he said before moving in and licking her on the side of her muzzle.

And so, the two fell asleep together. Waking time finally came. Krypto greeted Brainy and then went to Draco's bed basket. "Wake up, Draco. Today is an important day," he said.

Krypto nodded to Brainy, and the family made its way to the ship's kryptonite vault. They opened the door. "Test him with the smallest piece of kryptonite we have in here," he instructed Brainy.

Krypto watched intently from a safe distance as Brainy held the kryptonite near their son. A tense moment. If Draco was affected by the mineral, he would be showing it. He wasn't. Krypto smiled. "Good news, Brainy. Our son isn't affected by kryptonite," he said as his mate put the kryptonite away.
