They grabbed their equipment and then left for the city. Todd turned to Dixie. "Dixie, why did Jafar do what he did?" he asked her.

In the city, Po, Tigress and the others had arrived at Jafar's fortress. Entering it through a door, Po looked at them. "We're looking for Jafar's laboratory," he said, activating his belt-mounted cloaking device.

The team moved on. In the laboratory, Jafar was using his magic in an attempt to bring forth life from nothing as Abis Mal looked on. "It won't be long until I am successful, Abis Mal," he said.
