Ramose smiled and nodded. "We will take them and throw them into the Nile. They will either drown or be eaten by crocodiles," he said.

And so it began. Ramose and his men began to go throughout the area and take the newborn baby males from their parents and toss them into the Nile. At this same time, a lioness named Sarabi had given birth to her third child, whom she and her husband, Mufasa, had named Simba. She heard of Pharaoh's decree and rushed to her husband. "Mufasa, Pharaoh has given an order that the newborn males are to be thrown into the Nile. We must protect Simba. I will take him, place him in a basket, and set him adrift along the river," she said.

He looked at his love and frowned, "Yes my love and some day he will grow be to a strong man and will hopefully over throw the pharaoh." He said to her.

Just then, two slightly older cubs, which were Mufasa and Sarabi's older cubs emerged as the soldiers roamed about outside. The firstborn was a female named Tama, who was around five or six, and Alex, who was three. Alex went up to Mufasa. "Daddy, what's happening?" he asked in a scared voice.

Mufasa looked at him and frowned, " the pharaoh has given his men to take your baby brother away but don't worry. Me and your mother won't let them." He said to him.

The soldiers' footsteps got closer as Sarabi picked up Simba. Tama got the basket. "Come, we must do this now!" she said, heading for the door.

Ramose and His Second in command, a Tiger named Rajjah were near Mufasa and Sarabi when they saw them sneak away. Rajjah motioned for Ramose to follow him as the two officers saw it was a baby in the basket. Ready to be set adrift.

Mufasa nodded to his love, "take him now I'll stall the soldiers long enough for you to slip on by." He said to her looking at his new born son.

Sarabi nodded and then motioned to Alex and Tama. They then headed out towards the bank of the Nile.

"No need." Rajjah said, draing his sword fast and Killing Ramose with it before he threw the Hyena into the River, and the Hyena was devoured by a croc.
"May I ask your son's Name, out of curriousty?" Rajjah asked Mufasa and Sarabi.

Sarabi bowed to the Egyptian tiger soldier. "His name is Simba," Sarabi said. She looked into his eyes. "Please, don't kill him," she begged.
