It was a beautiful morning in the Valley as the sun rose. The Valley Pack's young heir Zen-Aku was just waking up. Zen-Aku streached as he yawned a small howl. He saw his ather was still asleep. Zen-Aku mischeiviously crept upon his dad and playfuly Tackled him. "Rawr! You better get up dad or I will tear off your legs and beat you to death with them!" The young pup grinned.

Humphrey, now a full-fledged alpha with quite a bit of muscle on him, groaned irritatedly as his son woke him up. "You're spending too much time with your grandmother," he said groggily.

Zen-Aku laughed. " That's because she's fun to be with Dad." The young pup grinned.

Humphrey yawned. "She's also crazy," he said, heading for the exit of the den to howl in order to awaken the rest of the pack.

Can-Do was out side and didn't notice that Humphrey was behind him, "I wonder how the day will be today with humphrey as a alpha now." He said quietly to him self.

As Humphrey howled, the pack began to stir. Among them was Shakey. He began to wake up his and Humphrey's brothers, Salty and Mooch. "Wake up, Humphrey is calling," he said.

Humphrey shrugged. "Sorry, but Winston wanted me to be more responsible, and so here it is. Today is a big day, as we have a hunt later on," he said.

Salty smirked, "so I guess you and the rest of the alpha's will be going out while us omegas wait here for you guys to return." He said to his alpha brother with a grin.

Humphrey laughed. "All right. Now, we just need to wait for Kate to wake up," he said, looking at his mate, who was just beginning to stir.

Kate emerged from the Den, looking more rested than Humphrey. "Let me guess, your Son woke up up?" Kate said with a smile, knowing humphrey would say that this early in the morning Zen-Aku was her son. Mooch was soon awake along with Garth. " So Coyote, what's with the earlt wake up call?" Garth said jokingly to his brother in law.

Humphrey quickly touched noses with Kate before turning back to the others. "We have to be ready. We have a hunt later today," he explained. Eve emerged from the shadows. "He's right. Be ready, all of you," she said.
